The Frame Group gets Cisco gold

New level of accreditation improves integrator's opportunities to sell to target customer base of government and large enterprises

The Frame Group has become a Cisco gold partner after five years in business with the vendor.

Frame Group national sales manager, Roger Barlow, said there were a number of requirements to attain the vendor’s highest level of accreditation.

“We needed to put a number of engineers through certification training in addition to the ones we already had, we had to invest in a lab and demonstration equipment, and we needed to demonstrate our internal processes were sound,” Barlow said. “Cisco then had an independent auditor come and make sure we fulfilled all the criteria.”

Cisco accounted for between 20 and 30 per cent of The Frame Group’s business, Barlow said.

The new certification entitles the integrator to discounts and additional support from the vendor.

“Many of our client base is enterprise and government, and stipulate that we have gold certification,” Barlow said. “Sales become easier when customers have confidence in us.”

The Frame Group hasbeen a Cisco silver partner for the past year.
