HP has appointed a new vice-president of its South Pacific Imaging and Printing Group (IPG)
HP has appointed Richard Bailey as vice-president of its South Pacific Imaging and Printing Group (IPG).
Bailey will be responsible for driving business across the SMB, enterprise, consumer, and graphic arts market segments and also oversee the consumer go-to-market strategy.
“The IPG business is well positioned in the South Pacific market and we have a clear strategy for continued growth. With HP’s Print 2.0 strategy we are focused on offering exceptional products and services to meet the imaging and printing requirements of our customers,” Bailey said in a statement.
A HP spokesperson told ARN there would be no changes to the company’s channel strategy in the immediate future.
Bailey joined HP in 2006 and is a former Asia-Pacific and Japan financial services division vice-president with more than 20-years experience in leadership positions.
In June, Bailey’s predecessor, Shane Lucas, stepped down from his role after just six months in the job.
In September, HP restructured the Imaging and Printing Group into three business units: Graphics Solutions; Inkjet and Web Solutions; and LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions.
