Vasco has launched a three-tier partner program with distributor, WhiteGold Solutions
Security vendor, Vasco, has continued its drive into the channel, launching a three-tier partner program in concert with distributor, WhiteGold Solutions.
Vasco enterprise channel manager, Gary O’Sullivan, said the partner program was the culmination of nine-months work to drive the vendor’s enterprise business through the channel.
“We’ve been very aggressive in talking to the channel,” he said. “We have had some partners previous to the program, including Runge Networks, Content Security and ICE Systems. We’re not putting a cap on partner numbers under this program, but we also have a number of requirements in terms of certification and capabilities.”
The entry-level partner tier is available to any reseller interested in Vasco solutions with technical service being performed by WhiteGold. Partner Select partners will have engineering and sales certification requirements, and Premium level partners must also commit to a quantity sales figure per year and further engineering certifications.
In addition to improved discounts at each level, partners in the higher tiers will enjoy benefits from Vasco lead generation programs and greater levels of support.
O’Sullivan said WhiteGold would be closely involved with the program.
“WhiteGold will be involved as the first level of tech support, and driving product refreshes through the channel.”
In April, the vendor appointed O’Sullivan as its first A/NZ channel manager, and in August appointed WhiteGold as its local distributor.
