ASX-listed services provider, Oakton (ASX: OKN), has appointed Gareth Williams as a member of its client management team in NSW.
Williams' role is to focus on products and services, which Oakton offers a full suite of strategies for. “Retail, airline, engineering and construction verticals are some of the broad range of verticals that we are strong in,” he said.
Williams’ appointment is a newly created role at Oakton, and part of its projected growth plan, he said.
“There are a number of other new appointments, and we’re making decisions on where we’d like to see some growth,” he added.
Williams was recently the head of application services sales for Tripoint and has 10 years consultancy and sales experience in the enterprise applications (ERP) space.
In mid-2008 Oakton posted record revenues of $201 million in the 12 months to June 30, a 75 per cent year-on-year increase.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
