NGA.NET founder granted Pearcey Young Achievers' award

According to the Pearcey Foundation, Mike Giuffrida took a big risk founding NGA, but the risk certainly paid off.

IT entrepreneur Mike Giuffrida, has been awarded the 2008 Victorian State Pearcey Award for Young Achievers in the ICT Industry.

Giuffrida is co-founder and CEO of HR software company NGA.NET.

According to Pearcey Foundation Deputy Chairman Wayne Fitzimmons, Giuffrida was given the award due to his work on NGA.

"Mike took a big gamble in locally developing highly-innovative and highly-risky advanced software technologies. His gamble has certainly paid off with his company now leading the Australian e-recruitment market and holding a dominant position against the world's best,"he said.
