C4 has won an integration contract with the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
Integ Group’s Cisco-focused business, C4, has won an integration contract with the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC). The contract is for C4 to implement the Cisco based integrated digital signage solution.
C4 will provide more than 60 LCD displays and monitors, as well as use the centre’s IP network platform to enable end-to-end video solutions.
C4 CEO, Ian Poole, said this was the first rollout of digital multimedia solutions using Cisco technology for the integrator. He declined to comment on the value of the deal.
“BCEC has been a long-term account for us – we’ve done work with them on networking and voice technology for the past five to six years, so this is a continuation of that relationship,” he said.
Poole said C4 would be looking for more opportunities around this space in the future.
“We see the key markets being with more convention centres and in hospitality,” he said. “From a C4 perspective, it’s a small area of business at the moment, but we believe it’ll be a growing market – there is a lot of interest out there.”
