Phoenix Toner has extended its relationship with printer vendor, Brother
Phoenix Toner has extended its relationship with printer vendor, Brother, to include its range of P-touch labellers and QL label printers and consumables.
Phoenix also distributes Brother’s range of toners, drums, ink cartridges and fax films.
Business development manager, Steve Towner, said the distributor was trying to position itself a real distribution centre for Brother.
“Phoenix has been in business for 22 years and for most of those years we’ve had a close relationship with some of the OEMs that we’ve been associated with the longest, like Brother, Epson, Kyocera, Oki and Lexmark,” he said.
The P-Touch range was mainly suited to the SMB market, which is a strong area for Phoenix, Towner said. The distributor has offices and warehouses in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
“Our customer base has really been asking us to get access to the P-Touch product. We’ve come on-board to service that market because we’ve had a reputation in servicing Brother consumables in other areas for so long and have done a good job at it,” he said.
One of the things Phoenix had been trying to actively promote is the distribution of printers, Towner said. In July, Phoenix landed a distribution deal with InfoPrint Solutions.
