HP's South Pacific Imaging and Printing Group will focus around three core business units
HP has restructured its South Pacific Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) to focus around three core business units.
Under the new strategy Shane Lucas will lead IPG’s Graphics Solutions unit, Inkjet and Web Solutions will be lead by Guyon Collins and the LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions will be headed up by Max Kaye.
All three business units will be supported by HP’s South Pacific after market sales team, which is headed up by Robert McCance, and its enterprise sales and services division led by Mike Fuller.
In a release, Lucas said restructured unit would help the organisation work closely with channel partners and provide better services to customers.
As reported by ARN in June, Lucas stepped down from his role as vice-president and general manager of HP’s local IPG team just six months after taking up the post. He was promoted to the role in January following the departure of Christoph Schell, who took up a regional IPG role in Singapore.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
