XSI Data Solutions was top point scorer at NetApp’s recent Partner Summit in the NSW Central Coast.
The national storage integrator picked up three state awards including Victoria, NSW and Queensland Partner of the Year, as well as the gong for overall Partner of the Year A/NZ. The awards were based on sales and revenue achievement. XSI was also recognised for bringing in the most new accounts over the past 12 months with Business Partner of the Year A/NZ.
The other Australian award winner was WA-based integrator, Empired, which took out Partner of the Year WA. New Business Deal awards were presented to Fujitsu New Zealand’s Oliver Bassett and Raymond Dickinson for sales and technology achievement.
More than 140 NetApp partners flocked to the Crown Plaza Terrigal for the vendor’s annual channel meet. The two-day event included presentations from NetApp staff as well as third-party vendors such as VMware and Force10 Networks.
Once the serious stuff was over, partners got to test out their favourite jokes and comic skills on their peers at a gala dinner hosted by Australian comedian, Russell Gilbert.
