Synnex marketing manager, Daniel Feldman, has retired after more than four years with the distributor. CEO, Kee Ong, said the decision to step down coincided with some internal restructuring.
Synnex will not replace Feldman. Instead, it has combined product management with marketing communications to form a product marketing division, Ong said.
Previously, the marketing team was run independently and reported directly to Ong.
Darren Tan, who has been with the distributor for more than five years, most recently in a product manager's role, has been named product marketing manager. Renee Lee, who has been with Synnex for nine years, will look after daily marketing operations.
"Tan will be responsible on the overall marketing communications side," Ong said. "There's no real dramatic change; everything remains the same. It's just a restructure and streamlining of internal management."
