SaaS provider, Emantra, has appointed Mark Rhodes as a senior systems engineer as it continues to see growth in Microsoft hosting services.
The company, which gained Microsoft Gold Partner certification earlier in the year, has appointed Rhodes to focus on its hosted Microsoft SharePoint and CRM solutions.
Emantra managing director, Ross Dewar, said the role was newly created role as a result of rapidly expanding demand for the hosted services.
"We'll be making more appointments in the near future. We're up to eight technicians, as well as myself. At this stage I'm not looking to build a sales staff - business is growing as rapidly as we can handle without sales people," Dewar said.
Prior to Emantra, Rhodes worked with WebCentral, where he was a senior systems engineer with the Microsoft hosting team. He has also previously worked for Brisbane Grammar School as a systems administrator.
Dewar said Emantra was making good headway with its channel expansion plans. "We've got a number of partners accredited around targeting SMBs, or wrapping our services up in their own packaging," he said.
