Logitech channel partners aim high

Fine dining and finer sales performance was the order of the day at Logitech's first-ever Australian partner awards in Sydney.

The computer peripherals vendor's night-of-nights was dubbed the Alto Awards - Alto being the Latin word for high - and held at Aria restaurant overlooking Circular Quay and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The night kicked off with cocktails and nibbles on the terrace, followed by a three-course meal selected for the occasion by Aria chef, Matt Moran. Attendees were also given the opportunity to meet Moran and ask questions before the awards ceremony began.

Logitech's Asia-Pacific vice-president of sales and marketing, Martin Geh, and A/NZ general manager, George Saad, delivered rousing speeches and congratulated partners on their achievements over the past 12 months.

Recipients of Logitech awards were: Dick Smith Electronics, JB Hi Fi, Officeworks, Big W, Harvey Norman, ITOne Group, Umart Online, Alepine Peripherals, WOW Sight and Sound, LDS International, Computers and Parts Land, Ocean Office Automation, CentreCom, PLE Computers, The Good Guys, WL Enterprise and CDM Computers.
