Telecommunications wholesaler, Telcoinabox, has appointed two new executives as part of a management overhaul.
Paul Line has become general manager and will be responsible for the company's financial performance, staff and delivery of the $40 million Optus 3G rollout in September.
John Jacob has been appointed to head the sales division. He has been a management consultant on the company's growth strategy for the past 12 months and will focus on taking Telcoinabox into new vertical industries.
Managing director, Damian Kay, will step away from day-to-day operations and instead concentrate on international growth and sales.
"It's important that we're sustainable. We needed to make sure we got all our processes online first and then ensure we had a senior management team in place once we were ready," Kay said. "These people have worked with us for a long time and we took a 12 month view on this in terms of coaching them on what we wanted them to do for the company."
Kay said he plans to launch Telcoinabox into the UK, New Zealand and Malaysian markets. Expansion into mainland Europe was also on the cards.
"The new appointments also give me a chance to get back to making sales, such as the recent Imagine UN win, which is what I love doing," he said.
The new appointments bring Telcoinabox's total headcount to 38 in Sydney and eight in Melbourne.
Kay said a further 6-8 appointments will be made in the next 12 months around accounting, sales and customer service.
Late last year Telcoinabox leapt into seventh place on the BRW Fast 100.
