Victorian distributor, Tonnex International, has inked a deal with IT&T technology cleaning products vendor, AF Australia.
The range includes backup drive cleaners, keyboard, keypad and case cleaners as well as screen, filter and glass cleaning products. Tonnex director, George Solomon, said it had a relationship with AF in the past and was looking for a complementary product to add to its line-up.
"For a few years, AF hasn't been active in the Australian market," he said. "I know the range really well and I'm keen to get this product to its rightful place in the market."
Retailers, resellers selling into government and corporate organisations would be suited to the range, Solomon said. The AF portfolio will be linked into Tonnex's reseller rewards program that was launched last year.
"We'll provide incentives for partners that they can pass on to the end-user and partners will also receive product training sessions," Solomon said. "Resellers can make some decent margins on this product."
AF key account manager, Michael Woods, said it had traditionally distributed its products via office stationary types of organisations and saw a market opportunity for AF in the technology sector.
"This product suits both markets," he said. "Tonnex had been interested in getting product that would take them into the stationary office type of market.
"They also have a very professional approach and want to build a big customer base."
