Synnex has opened a bigger Brisbane warehouse to cater for further growth.
State sales manager, Glenn Salata, said it had outgrown its previous premises. The new warehouse is situated in the suburb of Lytton and measures 2500sqm, which is more than double the size of its previous warehouse.
"We're committed to the local market and want to supply them with product a lot quicker," he said.
Salata said the bigger warehouse would allow the distributor to increase stockholding and improve its logistics capability.
In light of moving to bigger premises, Synnex is also keen to hire more sales staff in Brisbane.
"We've already increased our staff numbers here within the last six months, adding another four sales staff, and we'll expect more growth to cater for our customer base," he said. "Logistics is certainly an area of strength for the company and we're conscious of the fact that we do need to give our customers the best possible support we can."
In other news, the distributor is also running its Alliance national road show. It will feature more than 20 vendors and kicks off in Perth on June 10.
