ASX-listed WA services provider, ASG Group (ASX: ASZ), has scored a $30 million contract with the Federal Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local government.
The four-year deal sees ASG supply infrastructure managed services around the department's IT assets including desktops, laptops, servers and printers. ASG general manager federal region, Richard Everett, said it was a strategic win for the services provider.
"This is a new engagement with the department and we look forward to having a close relationship with them," he said.
The contract also comes with an optional four-year extension period and includes providing a comprehensive service desk for all department staff.
Everett said ASG aims to have the desktop and server parts of the contract rolled out by the end of the calendar year. The services provider is also looking to recruit more staff to fill support and infrastructure positions.
"We see growth within the market place, not just in the federal region, but nationally. This as an excellent leverage point to drive growth for us," he said.
This latest contract win followsASG's announcement that it had secured $75 million worth of contract renewals to date this financial year.
