Bluechip to open warehouse in SA

Bluechip Infotech will open a new warehouse in Adelaide in May to service both South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Bluechip managing director, Johnson Hsiung, said the new warehouse location was a logical move, after the distributor enjoyed a successful move into WA three years ago.
"We're expecting good growth in SA. We've had a sales person in Adelaide for the past 12 months, and currently have fewer than 20 resellers. With the warehouse we expect this number to grow to more than 100," Hsiung said.
The 450sqm warehouse includes office space and will be located north of the city centre in Dudley Park. Five or six staff will initially run the facility. More staff will be brought on-board as required.
"Our forecast for the rest of the year is to streamline our operations and settle down the Adelaide operation," Hsiung said. "The market is slower than everyone expected at the moment, but this is a new territory for us, so we'll have a new customer base."
