Melbourne-based identity technology vendor, Blue Reef, has signed OEM deals with Secure Computing and messaging software vendor, Commtouch Software.
Blue Reef sales director, Ajit Ambalavaner, said the OEM deals will enhance its identity driven networking (IDN) portfolio and make it easier for its resellers to sell the products.
The vendor will integrate Secure Computing's Secure Web SmartFilter solution into Blue Reef's Sonar Total Control Gateway appliances. It will also supply Web access control and protection technology.
Blue Reef has also established a licensing agreement with Commtouch to integrate its Anti-spam and Zero-hour Virus outbreak protection services into its Sonar Total Control Gateway.
Ambalavaner said Blue Reef mainly played in the education space and was searching for more resellers in the local market. Existing partners include Coretech in Queensland and Computelec in Victoria.
"We are on the hunt for niche resellers as opposed to box movers," he said. "We are very conscious about not signing up everyone."
Resellers partnering with Blue Reef will gain access to sales services, training and online demos, Ambalavaner said.
