Performance management vendor launches in Australia

myDials appoints sales and marketing manager to develop a partner strategy

US-headquartered performance management vendor, myDials, has opened its first two offices in Australia.

The company has hired Jeremy Bolton as its Asia-Pacific sales and marketing manager. He is based in its new Brisbane office. Another office has been opened in Perth. In his new role, Bolton will firstly focus on a go-to-market strategy and aligning the myDials product in the local market. He is also tasked with growing sales and rolling out a partner strategy. The company has already signed three partners and is plotting a channel program giving resellers a certain percentage on each sale and recurring revenue, Bolton said.

myDials' performance management solution links together a customer's infrastructure and presents operations and business metrics as they change.

"We charge the customer on a per user per month basis. The reseller has an incentive to keep servicing the customer because the longer they stay on, the more they get out of it," Bolton said. Current myDials partners are Tolerro, Efficiency Works and OPX Solutions. Bolton said he hoped to have a handful of partners per state and was in the process of signing partners in South Australia and NSW. Key verticals for myDials were manufacturing, mining and energy, Bolton said.

"The reseller has to demonstrate some value and be in a market segment that they have some knowledge of and where they think myDials will fit in quite well," he said. "It's about which parts of the industry they target and do they deal with business issues as opposed to just selling PCs."

Prior to joining myDials, Bolton was the global sales director for Citect. He also worked as sales and marketing director for NTBS Business Solutions and spent eight years with Infotron System as a northern region manager.
