ASX-listed software distributor, Manaccom, (ASX:MNL), has signed a distribution deal with games console accessories vendor, Futuretronics, to supply its products to Harvey Norman stores.

The announcement comes a week after Manaccom became the preferred software supplier to Harvey Norman's forthcoming office and stationery retail outlets, OFIS.

Manaccom CEO, James Mackay, said Futuretronics lacked the logistics capacity and relationship with Harvey Norman for its products to be distributed through the mass merchant's franchise model.

"Futuretronics is a good fit for our company since we're selling to the same demographics," Mackay said.

Futuretronics product line-up includes third-party controllers, cases and memory cards for consoles such as the Nintendo Wii, DS, and PlayStation. The partnership will give Manaccom a broader product range and build up its accessories business, Mackay said.

"We hope to take the Futuretronics line to other retailers, but that depends on what happens between our companies in the future. It's not something we have discussed as yet," he said.

Futuretronics also distributes directly to a number of retailers, including Electronics Boutique.
