Printer distributor, Tonnex, will open a Sydney office to join its Brisbane and Melbourne locations.
The new office will be dedicated to sales and customer support, and will have space for eight staff. Tonnex director, George Kozman, said the wholesaler already had two staff in Sydney and was bringing on a third. He was hoping the location will be filled in 12 months.
"Between the three locations we feel we are able to service anywhere in Australia. We have a number of clients in the west but the east cost is more ideal for us at this stage," he said.
Tonnex has also recently revamped its reseller rewards program, which provides its 850 registered resellers with a points-based rewards system per dollar spent. Kozman said the program was expanded based on feedback from the previous year's program.
Epson and Brother have joined HP in supporting the rewards program.
