Performance management vendor unveils tiered partner program

Performance management vendor, Exinda Networks, has launched a new channel program called Fast Track.

Vice-president of worldwide sales, Jim Christie, said the program is focused on investing into the people that are investing in Exinda's technologies.

Fast Track features WAN optimisation training and certification, deal registration, technical, sales and marketing support. The program is split into two levels - Authorised and Premier.

To gain Authorised status, partners need to have at least one sales and one technical person participate in its training and certification program. Authorised partners will be given access to the vendor's partner portal and channel newsletter.

Premier partners need to have more staff trained in the Exinda range, attend webinars, develop business and marketing plans, and provide regular forecasts. In return, these partners obtain sales leads, better discounts and more sales, marketing and technical tools, Christie said.

"There are additional margins and a higher premium for Premier partners when they register a deal," he said.

Locally, Exinda has about 30 partners. Christie said Exinda was working with all partners to integrate them into the program.

In other news, Exinda country manager, Mark Geddes, has left his post after just four months. Christie said the company was searching for someone to fill the position.
