Longstanding Logitech Australia boss, Marco Manera, is relocating to Paris to manage the southern European region for the peripherals vendor.
Even though he can't speak much French, Manera said it was a good opportunity and time to go back to his own continent. The Italian has been managing operations here for 10 years.
His departure sees George Saad promoted to general manager. He was previously the retail national sales manager, a role filled internally by Annabelle Woods.
Saad will initially focus on two major segments of Logitech's business - consumer electronics and mobility.
"We are expanding our product line-up into more mobile accessories," he said. "We are really strategising with our customers from a channel and retail perspective to capitalise on the opportunities of that segment."
Saad said Logitech would expand its mobility range to include products like notebook bags and USB hubs.
"We are growing quickly and need to develop the right infrastructure to handle that growth while redefining and repositioning ourselves," he said. "It's a challenge I'm looking forward to."
