A year on from its management buyout of destra's domain registration business, TPP Internet is touting an acquisition plan and new products and services.
Sales and marketing director, Chris Collinge, said it would like to acquire one or two companies in the search, hosting and domains space.
"We are looking for companies that provide complementary services for what we do," he said. "We're always on the look out for acquisitions."
Since the buyout, TPP had launched dedicated hosting services. They had been a strong contributor to its 100 per cent annual growth, managing director, Peter Shilling, said. It was currently rolling out Hosted Exchange, which is based on Microsoft Exchange and a pay-per click product that involves selling Google Ad words to online marketing.
"One of the opportunities that Chris and I saw was to leverage the customer base and offer other products and services to them," Shilling said. "We've been a lot more focused on virtual hosting, and all the products are really focused on our client base being small business."
Collinge said it has also unveiled a TPP Rewards Incentive Program for resellers providing rebates based on the amount they spent per month.
"If they spend a certain amount they will get 5 per cent rebate and if they spend more they get more. So we think that, aligned with our pricing, makes us the most competitive provider of these solutions to local resellers," he said.
Collinge saidthe company was also offering to partner with resellers on providing skills in building a website, domains or hosting.
TPP has also doubled its staff numbers from 10 -23, bringing on account managers and customer support personnel.
