Acer offers CRM pre-installed

Coordimax software trial now being offered on a select range of desktop machines
ARN Staff  17 May, 2007 12:02:00

PC resellers will have the chance to tempt customers with CRM software packages after Acer announced it would start shipping selected desktop computers with trial Coordimax CRM software.

The machines will come with a 90-day trial of the software. Once that has expired, customers can opt to pay $349 to continue using the software. They will also be given the opportunity to purchase multi-user licences as well. The bundle represents the first time either vendor had created a dedicated small business hardware and software bundle, Coordimax managing director, Martin O'Connor, said.

With 1.4 million SMBs in the local market, the software vendor was looking to deliver the CRM capabilities available to larger businesses to their smaller cousins, he said.
