Kim Duffy, former managing director of Internet Security Systems (ISS), has resigned from his post, replaced immediately by former ISS national business development manager Simon Ractliffe.
Ractliffe will be primarily responsible for business strategy development as well as customer and partner relationship building, and has held the post of national business development manager for the past three years.
Ractliffe has worked in local and international roles with EMC and Cabletron Systems.
Tom Noonan, general manager for the Internet Security Systems division of IBM, said this posting is an important leadership role at a vital time in the history of ISS.
IBM purchased ISS for $US1.3 billion in late October 2006.
