Tonnex ramps up reseller relations

Julia Talevski  31 October, 2006 12:06:32

Looking to improve its reseller relations, printer and computer consumables distributor, Tonnex International, is launching a new website this month.

It will include a partner portal, brand and stock information and a newsletter focusing on industry tips and launches.

"The biggest step we are taking at the moment is trying to make our business with resellers a lot easier and more efficient," marketing executive, James Rendell, said. "We are looking at adding more product information to our website and links for industry-based information."

Further down the track, the Victorian-based distributor would look at adding electronic ordering facilities. It planned to maintain its previous order form and credit application services.

"The electronic services will allow people to conduct accounts online," he said. "We will be reviving everything we do to make it more effective for everyone."

Tonnex has in excess of 600 resellers. Rendell said he was interested in bringing more on-board that dabble in computer consumables.

"We want resellers to get in touch with us to find out how we can drive their business," he said. "We pride our selves on being able to provide a total product offering and not just a good price."
