ASG Group is flying high after getting the nod to supply systems integration and management services to Qantas.
The WA-based systems integrator will supply and implement Oracle software to support the airline's eQ e-business system. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
ASG CEO, Geoff Lewis, was thrilled to have won the contract. He wouldn't reveal which suppliers it had beaten to the punch but hinted they were multinationals.
"We offer better value for money and our service levels are just as good," he claimed.
"We also offer better client access and can be more responsive. The decisions are made here, not offshore or through some sort of convoluted system."
The initial deal could also open other doors within Qantas, Lewis said.
