Tonnex introduces rewards scheme

Tonnex rebate rewards lets resellers obtain two points for every dollar spent on products purchased

Printer and consumables distributor, Tonnex International, has launched a rebate rewards program.

Resellers will now be able to obtain two points for every dollar spent on products purchased from its line-up. The new initiative will run for 12 months. Marketing executive, James Rendell, said the program, which is being sponsored by HP, was expected to generate a lot of business.

"We have tried to develop this program so that it is interesting and everyone gets a reward from it," he said.

The points can be redeemed for items from a 16-page catalogue, which include plasma TVs, BBQs, holidays, coffee machines and video camcorders.

"Throughout the year there will also be promotions and extra points available," Rendell said. "If customers register for the program before February 28, a minimum of 2000 points will be up for grabs. We have also got a 500-point bonus available for new customers that come on-board through this program."

Rendell said the Melbourne-based distributor had experienced strong growth over the past six months and had hired six more staff in sales, warehouse and accounts. It was also keen to develop its national presence and was looking to attract resellers from NSW, SA and QLD.

"We feel that we are ready to service those markets quite strongly and we think that the rebate program can help us do that," he said. "One of our objectives is to attack new markets. Now we have more staff and resources to do so."
