KVM switch vendor, Avocent, has appointed Leanne Ramsay to the newly created role of A/NZ managing director.
She was previously A/NZ managing director for data management vendor, Cyclades, which was acquired by Avocent in March.
Ramsay will be responsible for driving regional growth and managing channel partners as well as providing technical support and marketing programs.
A key objective will be to make sure partners are trained across both sets of products. This includes console servers, KVM switches and management systems.
"We are currently formulating the training and certification methods, which will be available from July once the strategy has been confirmed," Ramsay said.
The vendor is also looking to increase its staff numbers, with a focus on technical support and sales.
