Mid-Comp hunts for integration partners

Melbourne-based software developer, Mid-Comp International, is hoping to increase its local and overseas presence with several new partnerships for its Odyssey software.
Appointing a second integrator in Sydney was a priority for the Web-enabled distribution and accounting system, Mid-Comp business development manager, Geoff Lines, said.
Integrators with JD Edwards experience would be ideal, Lines said, and partners could expect above average margins as well as spin-off maintenance revenues.
The Java-based software was designed to be platform independent and didn't charge a per-user browser fee, which Lines suggested would give it a competitive edge against JD Edwards and SAP.
Mid-Comp's Certified Reseller program for Odyssey currently accounted for half of sales revenues, but Lines said he wanted to boost that figure to 70 per cent by the end of the year.
