IBM’s local personal computing division (PCD) is never short of incentives for individual sales people in the IT channel.
The vendor recently rewarded five of its best and brightest reseller reps from the first half of the year with $2000 travel vouchers under its Know Your IBM program. The vendor also dished out Centrino machines to nine Australian reps as part of its Know Your ThinkPad program.
For the latter half of the year, IBM is running a partner incentive program: for every $10,000 of an IBM Global Finance deal done by a partner, the rep is given a chance to win a place on a trip to Hayman Island on February 6-7.
More than 20 places are up for grabs, but reseller reps are only eligible if they complete the Know Your IBM Global Finance Learn & Earn module by December 14. Winners will be announced in early January.
