Veritas has completed its distribution review and will drop two distributors.
Its distribution line-up will shrink from four distributors to two from June 30, with the departure of Tech Pacific and ACA Pacific. The storage software vendor also confirmed that channel manager, Bruce Lakin, has been appointed managing director after acting in this position for three months.
As of July 1, ongoing partners Ingram Micro and Express Data would have access to the full range of Veritas product, Lakin said. The decision ends a lengthy distribution review process, which had originally been slated to conclude in April.
In the meantime, Lakin said that Veritas would ensure a business as usual approach for all distributors, ahead of the relationships with Tech Pacific and ACA Pacific being phased.
